Antalya, Dalaman and Kalkan Weather
The weather in Kalkan is similar to that of Southern California. It rarely rains between May and September but there may be occasional stormy days in April and October. Scorching daytime summer temperatures are moderated by the 'meltem', a welcome afternoon cooling breeze.
Sea temperatures rarely fall below 17ºC so the resort is ideal for water sports. There are several local dive centres and Fethiye caters for windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts. If you prefer to relax on a sun-drenched beach Kalkan has its own small pebbly beach, but just 20 minutes away by bus is the famous Patara Beach - 17 km long and rated number 1 beach in the world by a large margin.
